What is the significance of men wearing white, flower bracelets? (Devdas)?
I am referring to Indian culture…A friend posed to me a question that I could not answer… In the movie Devdas, in particular, characters such as Chunnilal Babu are shown to be wearing a type of bracelet of white flowers, resembling a lei. Is this a fashion in the movie, or does this have some sort of meaning?
