What Can I do About a Wedding Gift for Same-Sex Wedding Taking Place Out of Their Country?
I live in Ontario, and my friend is getting married to his boyfriend here in a few weeks. They live in England, though, and I’m not sure what to do about a wedding gift. Do I get them something FOR the wedding here? Or do I spare them the inconvenience of having to haul things overseas? And if so, HOW do I do that? Any suggestions INCLUDING what to get will help so much. Thanks.
You can always go the money or gift card route. If you’d rather get them a real gift though, you can order it online and have it shipped to their home. I would ask them before doing that though, they may not have someone to watch the house while they’re away. If you want to have something for them at the wedding, either make it small or print out a picture of the item and let them know you have or will order it to be shipped directly to them so they don’t have to worry about it getting home.
