How do you make tea from a tea bag?
Yah, I recognize how lame this question is but I’ve never been a tea drinker. I just bought some herbal tea from an herbalist through the internet and it came in individual tea bags. It says to make a pot of hot tea with it. I don’t own a tea pot. Am I correct that I would boil water in a pot, say maybe a 2 quart pot, and then add the tea bag and let it set for 5 minutes? Do I need to squeeze the tea out of the bag? It also says the one tea bag can be used to make up to 3 pots of tea. Do I let the bag dry out then stick it in a Ziplock?
You have the correct idea. It may not take five minutes for it to saturate the water. You also don’t need to use a Ziplock bag. You could just leave it on the countertop to let it dry. Just use water to remove any stain that develops.
