What is the cost of a wedding set in a vineyard for 150 guests?
My daughter and her fiance are planning a June wedding in a vineyard in the Charlottsville,VA. area. This is a contemporary yet traditional wedding. Her style is elegant and refined but she states that she does not want a truly formal.
Depends on the vineyard, what you have for dinner, remember, chicken is cheapest! I just got married in California and researched the vineyards there. I found that they were in line price wise with other places but they have alot of rules, and are limited as to what they can provide. For example most vineyards will only serve their product – meaning wine only. Most also seemed to have a specific end time, like “all guests must be off premises by 10:30PM, and we allow 1 hour for clean up” The other thing – you will need to most likely rent tables, chars linens, a wait and bar staff, and have the event catered. For 150 I say you are looking at a minnimum of $15-$20,000.
