Can’t get new lipring in (piercing)?
I just got a new seamless hoop for my lip, and I can’t seem to get it in. I’ve had the piercing for about three months now and this is the first time I took it out. I tried to put on my new one but couldn’t seem to do so. I can get my other one in with no problem (although it’s a captive hoop and I can’t get the ball back in so it’s just in without anything holding it together), and the only thing I can seem to think that could be an issue is that the captive ball one has rounded edges, but my new one has flat sides. Anyone got any ideas? Should I just try shoving it through harder or would I risk ripping something?
clean it with some sea salt and water. and then dry it off.
then try to wet the end that is going in first.
put a little sea salt water on the hole as well.
