Pillar Candles
how do you get a pillar candle to stick to a plate?
i don’t have a candle holder for my pillar candles and i know there’s a way to get them to stay upright on a plate, but for the life of me i cannot find anything that tells me how.
I’m probably way off here but I cannot imagine why you would be having trouble getting pillar candles to stay upright. Those are the ones with the wide base, the ones for which you don’t need a holder.
Please, please, tell me you aren’t trying to make TAPERS stand upright without a holder!!!
Yes, you can make a taper stand up by dripping the wax and it can look really cool but they require constant supervision and can be dangerous. The wax starts to get soft and they will fall.
For tapers use a shot glass or a blueberry tin or a even a bowl, scrunch up a bunch of aluminum foil inside to hold it properly.
