Orange Silk
want to make a baby blanket for nephew?
I have orange silk that I want to use for the edges but I don’t know what color or type of material to pair it with. I want it to be obviously from me, but I would choose halloween themed material(or plain black fleece) and it would only get used on halloween >.< I want it to be something he would like to keep for a long time, like the blankets I got from my aunt. What would go good with the neon orange silk that I have for a boy?
I’d suggest taking the silk with you when you go to the fabric store and asking for help. Most of the time the sales people are happy to help. And you might find a print that isn’t Halloween that has the orange in it. I believe I have some fabric with hippy painted VW bugs on it that is really cute that would work with orange, so I’m sure you can find a print that will work.
