My AP psychology teacher offered my class extra credit if we wrote a paper on love, whether we right about the causes of, effects of, etc.

I’ve got most of the paper down, but there’s one thing that’s bugging me. What is love?

Love to me means something, but it means something different to my friend.

If you’re willing, I’d like to hear your opinion on what love is. I don’t need a textbook definition or a widely accepted answer, but what you feel in your heart.
