Lot Wedding
How do I make a community lot church in Sims 2 wedding-enabled?
I have the Double Deluxe version, so that’s the base game plus Celebration and Nightlife. I’ve built this really great little church, and I want to put a wedding arch in it, but I have no idea how. Could I somehow put one in my Sim’s inventory and have them drop it there? What other way is there? Downloads would be great.

Trying the inventory method won’t work. Fortunately, there are a couple workarounds.
The easiest method without having to download anything extra is to finish the church, change the lotzoning to residential, place the arch, then change it back to community.
1. type in the cheat “changeLotZoning residential”
2. save and exit lot for change to take place.
3. re-enter lot.
4. place arch
5. type in the cheat “changeLotZoning community”
6. save and exit the lot
7. visit with the engaged sims and have a wedding.
