Holders Wedding
for my wedding I want chocolate place card holders, but afraid they’ll melt. suggestions?
Has anyone done this before? Or know if I can get a chocolate that won’t melt? The wedding is at the end of June, and the reception is in a barn. So it could get pretty warm.
My boyfriend collects toy tractors, and the one thing he asked for is to have tractors on the table.
The placecard holders was an idea to have them there, without using tractors as center pieces.
We were going to make them ourselves, as we are trying to do our wedding as inexpensive as possible.
I had thought that maybe a hard candy would work better?
We don’t really have a defined theme, but I guess since the reception is in the barn, and there will be tractors on the table, its going to be a bit country. But classy… NOT REDNECK!
Chocolate will melt. There is no way around that. What if you went with cookies? They can have royal icing on them and be really cute. You’d have to have someone make them for you though because the artwork can be tough to do.
Another thing you could do is to eliminate the tractors from the tables and get him a groom’s cake in the shape of a tractor. That could be cute too.
