Flower Favors

Tuberose or hyacinth are probably best. Both smell amazing, but tuberose tend to be “boring” white. However, they smell stronger at night, so they have an inherent romantic quality to them in that respect. Also, they are a summer-blooming plant, not spring.

Hyacinth is more colorful and is an early Spring bulb…smells great. Nice big blooms, too.

Dahlias are good if you want something showy, but they don’t smell and can be too big (flop over). Cannas would be a good erect alternative. They grow pretty tall from their ittybitty corms and will continue to bloom as long as you deadhead them.

I would not recommend Daffodils. They’re beautiful, but they kinda jerks in that they inhibit the growth of other plants around it. Not a good association for marriage.
