Why don’t they make wedding rings out of 24 carat gold?
heyah, for my chemistry homework, i have been asked to find out about the carats of gold, and one of the questions is “why don’t we use 24 carat gold for wedding rings?” I’m really stuck and was wondering if any of you guys might know? Please Help!!! Thanks alot! xx
Because 24-carat gold is extremely malleable. You could dent it with your fingernail.
