Candles Wedding

The previous post was referring to the unity candle. If you are talking about the candles in the candelabras, they are usually lit before people enter the church about 30 minutes before the ceremony. If people arrive early, I have seen an employee of the church sneak in and light them but it was at least 15 minutes before the service starts.

They usually leave the lighter up there so that the mom’s can light the unity candle unless your church has them walk in with the true alcolyte lighter (but I think that’s just Methodists)
