Help! Can sponge cake be placed on top of each other in a wedding cake?
I have to make a wedding cake today (for tomorrow!!) for my pal and she wants a sponge cake. Can you put three iced ones on top of each other or would it be too heavy?
I am using royal icing. And the thing witht he cake stand I have left it a bit late lol
Oh and theres marzipan going under the icing and not much decoration will be going on top so that won’t weigh it down
If you ask me it’s obvious that if they don’t have a wedding cake already they are very unorganized and clearly the relationship is doomed to fail. It would be more appropriate if you made 2 separate small cakes, one for the wedding and one for the divorce.
