Bridesmaid Wedding
What do you do when your a bridesmaid in a wedding, is it fun?
well in my sisters wedding in may , and im not to sure what i have to do besides walk down the aisle with someone. I have a dress but is there anything that i do extra like greet people or do i have to give a speech? and if you werea bridesmaid did you like it
Bridesmaids plan and host the bridal shower.
They pay for their own dresses for the wedding. (the couple typically buys the bridesmaids a token gift)
They walk down the aisle before the bride and are escorted back up the aisle by the groomsmen/ushers after the ceremony.
If there is a receiving line after the ceremony, the bridemaids may stand in line to greet guests (but not always)
The maid/matron of honor might give a toast (not a speech) but not usually the bridesmaids, unless there is some special relationship.
Bridesmaids usually dance with the groomsmen at the beginning of the wedding, but don’t have to dance with them all night.
You may need to help the bride with her dress when she has to use the ladies room too, especially if she has a long train!
