What to write in a household hints book for a wedding gift? I’d like to write something memorable&amusing
I’m going to distant cousin’s (male) wedding. Already purchased a gift through the registry, this book is an ad-on that I thought would be useful for them. It is more a kitchen hints book, giving advice on how to prepare food and what equipment is needed + recipes. I know his parents more than I know him (only met the bride to be once) but not very close to his parents either. I got as far as: To ….. hoping you’ll find this useful in your marriage.. Not very memorable or amusing!

There is one helpful household hint which I use all the time and did not see in this book…
Then list a nice little tip that you personally use.
Since you don’t know the couple that well, you don’t have to get too mushy or personal, but I think listing a housewives trick that you have found useful would be nice in your inscription.
Or it could be something cute and sassy like… “Always have a little stash of mad-money”… or “a rolling pin is also known as an ‘attitude adjuster’ in our household.”
